Lightning 63mm 4-Part Alloy Spice & Herb Grinder – Clear-Base Powder Chamber

The Lightning finish is the one worth buying if you actually care about the kief — it has a clear base, so you can see the powder chamber filling without opening it.

Why the clear base matters

On a solid grinder you have no idea how much kief you've collected until you crack it open, which usually means opening it too early and disturbing the pile. A transparent bottom chamber lets you leave it alone until it's genuinely worth scraping.

Getting the most kief

Grind in short bursts rather than one long twist, and give the grinder a light tap on the tray afterwards — more of the fine material makes it through the screen that way.
