How to set up your Jomo Lite 40

1. Prime the coil first. Drip a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton of the coil before you assemble anything. Skipping this is the single most common way people burn a brand-new coil.
2. Fill the tank. Unscrew the top, pour down the inside wall of the glass, and keep the level between 10% and 90%. Never pour liquid down the centre air pipe.
3. Let it soak. Leave the filled tank standing for 10 minutes so the cotton saturates fully.
4. Power on. Five rapid clicks of the fire button. Five more clicks turns it off — do this before it goes in your pocket.
5. Set your airflow. Rotate the ring at the base of the tank. Wide open gives you the biggest clouds; tighter gives you more flavour and a firmer draw.
6. Charge sensibly. Use a normal 1A charger. Fast chargers will shorten the life of the battery.

Coil life and care

A 0.5Ω coil typically runs one to two weeks depending on how hard you vape. You will know it is finished when the flavour turns dull, then harsh or burnt. Change it then — pushing on past that point ruins the taste of good e-liquid.

Heavily sweetened and high-VG liquids caramelise on the coil and shorten its life noticeably. Keep the tank above a quarter full; firing a nearly-empty tank is the fastest way to dry-burn cotton. Popping and crackling while you vape is completely normal on a subohm device.

What e-liquid should I use?
For nicotine: any standard freebase e-liquid. Because this is a subohm device running at 40W, stick to lower strengths — 3mg or 6mg. High-strength salt nicotine in a subohm tank will be unpleasantly harsh. Look for a higher-VG blend where you can; thicker liquid wicks better through a 0.5Ω coil.
